About
Since its inception, the CSP has grown from just five founding partners to more than 200 local and regional businesses and organizations.
Although Grand Rapids, Michigan, was the first to initiate a Community Sustainability Partnership, there are now many others across Michigan and nation-wide that have started their own networks focused on the triple bottom line of sustainability.
The Grand Rapids Area CSP, along with the City of Grand Rapids have the honor of being jointly designated a United Nations University Regional Centre of Expertise (RCE). RCEs “aspire to achieve the goals of the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (DESD, 2005-2014), by translating its global objectives into the context of the local communities in which they operate.”
Check out the resources on this site to learn how to become a member of a CSP and work together for a balanced triple bottom line. With all of us working together, we can create and sustain a positive quality of life for future generations.
